I know we promised a comic every other week, but Christmas got in the way. Not for Lisandro, who had already drawn a few strips in advance, and has already asked me for more scripts to keep drawing. Nope, it was my fault that this strip is late (even if I'm backdating it to its right day on Comic Fury).

What can I say about Tota? She wasn't just a wonderful gran to my wife, she was also a amazing "Iaia" to my kid, and adopted me as her own grandson to boot. And she was also an outstanding cook! I was incredibly lucky to have met her, and be part of her family. She's still deeply loved and missed.

As for the D&D part, I had taken over my in-laws' dinner table with books, maps, and notebooks, planning my next session. This was probably the first campaign I was DMing, called "The Heroes of Lallor", played by my very good friends Tato (as the human sorcerer Lera), Farf (as the dwarven warrior Pirs Tankrider Porlascallesdesanpetersburgo), and Andi (as the halfling thief Rulfo). Great fun was had by all, and the memories will last forever. Roleplaying rocks!

Music for this strip is from one of the albums I listened the most to during 1999, Eminem's The Slim Shady LP, and I had to choose 97 Bonnie & Clyde, one of my favorite songs from the record. And yes, I know whow dark that song is:

(Have you ever bought a book because of it's title? I have. Ever visited a town because of its name? That, too. This is the first time I subscribe to a web comic because of it's title. Sorry for the TMI.)
