This is the first fill in piece of art for the period of time during which I will be wearing my cast. They will all follow the same pattern, that is, me wearing something cooler than the cast on my hand. In this case, it's a panzerhand, an armored gauntlet from the roleplaying game 7th Sea. It's used in a fighting style called "Eisenfaust", opposite the hand wielding a heavy sword. The panzerhand is used for blocking enemy attacks, and even catching and breaking swords.

Not only is 7th Sea one of my favorite games, but this fighting style and the land it's from (Eisen) are my favorites within the game's setting. One of my most beloved characters in my eighteen years of gaming is from Eisen, and of course, he fought using this style (although he wore his panzerhand on his left hand; I don't have a choice).
