Pinupception, week one! Yes, this is filler, but Taibox is working hard on our upcoming book (not Jetpack, but Silver Grimoire, check out a preview here, from a chapter by another artist). We're releasing it in July in Spanish, and later this year in English (both digitally and on print on demand).

So, while he finishes the art for his part of the book, it's easier to do a pinup as filler than to draw an actual strip, which requires more thought and planning. I suggested he do "cover versions" of the guest pinups we had in January when we took the month off the strip... but those are in turn inspired by strips drawn by Taibox, so he's covering a cover of his cover!

We'll do it in order, and on the first week of January Matías Soto López made this illustration, based on strip #19. Tai dials back the badassnes and makes me a dumb kid again.

For the music, we're going the cover route as well. When we ran Matías' piece, we used a TMNT movie soundtrack song, Partners in Kryme's "T.U.R.T.L.E. Power". Here's that same song, but in a chiptune version by Klopfenpop featuring Random:
